On July 1, 1971, voters from 18 to 21 were given the right to vote. Since that time, your voice has been under-represented and ignored. I want to change that.

The desicions that we make today are so crucial to your future. Taxes, the bail out, war, education - all of these things will affect your lives for years to some.

I'm asking you to help change that. I want to help make sure that your voice is heard in St. Paul and that the decisions we make are made with you in mind as well.

This fall, when you vote, I'm asking that you vote by absentee ballot at home. Even though you are in college now, you still have roots right here in Plymouth. And with those strong ties, you can help make a difference in the lives of all the people in your generation.
